Who We Are

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a global Catholic lay organization that seeks to relieve the suffering of our neighbors in need. The St. Agnes Conference brings help to our Rockville Centre neighbors through person-to-person encounters.

What We Do

Vincentian volunteers make home visits to individuals or families who ask for help to gain an understanding of their unique needs. For example, here in Rockville Centre, there are neighbors facing eviction from their homes, some that may have difficulty providing food for their families, while others are homebound and experience loneliness. The Society may offer financial, material or spiritual aid. We may also connect someone in need with outside resources for additional support.
